Being in a globe

This is a challenge to write in the present tense .

In the planetarium there are a vast amount of  comfortable seats. You can lie back and it will feel like you are in space. There are two projectors that display a 3D movie, stars as constellations, sunset and sunrise, and planets you can see at night time from Earth.

1/4 of the Solar System


Last week on Friday Room 8 got a 1/4 Black piece of paper, and 1/20 colored piece of paper.On the 1/20 piece of paper the picture had half of something in the solar system.We all drew what was on the 1/20 piece of paper but we didn't know what it would make. I did half of Jupiter and my friend Alyssa had drawn the other  half.When we finished drawing on the 1/4 paper me and my friends put our planets together. On Monday we came back to school and saw it,when we saw it the picture was of the solar system and here is me with the final results.

On Friday we did some art I got a 1/20 of a puzzle it was a bit difficult  because there are small
detail. But a tried hard I imagine what it look like.

we had to copy off a 1-20 enlarged piece of paper, 
It was quite an adventure because we had to copy off a little paper.
We had to add detail to our drawing.
We had to use our imagination.
What I loved well doing this art was drawing up my piece of the solar system. 
My challenge for this piece of art was drawing my picture. 



1/4 of the Earth


This is my puzzle on Friday.
We had a  square each, Dane, Jarrod, Saia and I
had one each. The rest of the class had to create the
earth. At  the end we had to put it together
and see if it is in the right place.

Walking water

WALT: a brainstorm my brainstorm are in bold.
Last week on Thursday Room 8 did science experiment about walking water.
Who was there? My teacher and all the student.
What did we do?My teacher set up the experiment.
Where did it take place? It took place at Tamaki Primary school in Room 8.
When it happen? It happened on Thursday 24.
Why we did it? We did it to show what does walking  water.

Firstly my teacher set up the science experiment up with 7 cups on the table and they had strips on it and four had water inside. Then she put food coloring which are engeenge,Kulukula and Pulu

Secondly she told us to predict what is going to happen with the colors in the three cups.

Thirdly she told each one group to stand up and told us to observed what is going to happen.

Primary and Secondary

Firstly Ms Bracey was setting up a experiment for science last week.She put 7 cups into a line and filled up 1,3,5 and 7 with water and added food colouring the primary colours and Left 2,4 and 6 empty and than put in paper towel strips.The primary colours are red,yellow and blue and in Tongan kulakula mo engeenge .We worked in buddies and she gave us an observation sheet. Secondly we were asked to predict what will happen with the experiment.My prediction was the colors were going to mix and become secondary colors.My buddy had the same idea. Lastly, we waited for 3 days and our idea was right,so we were told to observe to write what we saw and we did.

Room 8 had a science experiment on Thursday to write about what we see.

Firstly:Ms Bracey set up the science experiment for us to observe what might happen.It was for Room 8 to predict what will happen.
Ms Bracey put primary colours in plastic cups full of water.She put food colouring,it was yellow,red and blue.7 cups in a pattern water, no water,water,no water,water,no water,water.

Secondly:Ms Bracey asked to predict what will happen when it is finished.Our buddies were a post take a look and come back and give us information about what they saw there.


Thirdly:Ms Bracey told us to observe information.We saw a paper towel strip in one of the primary cups and made a secondary colour in the empty cup.The secondary colours were orange and green.The strip was merging with the primary colours into the empty cup.We came back on Friday and looked what happen.

WALT: Describe an experience.

Today did you know that there was a inflatable bouncy castle?

Did you know that the bouncy castle was hired by the Haier? When we went on the inflatable bouncy castle it looked DIFFICULT! and EPIC!. 

An important fact is that the bouncy castle had a washing machine,fridge and a sandwich press. It was  challenging. It was also slippery like a water slide. I felt like I was in a car wash and came out of a washing machine.

What was your challenge?
My challenge was that I have never been on an inflatable bouncy castle before But it was INCREDIBLE!
